Today, I would like to welcome you to the Labor of Love Halloween Hop that Ellen is hosting! If you arrived from Lori's Blog Scrappin My Stress Away, you are in the right spot! If you arrived here first, please be sure to start at Ellen's blog so, that you do not miss any of the wonderful creations!
I would like to introduce you to a dear friend of mine that creates banners for sale. She has graciously created a banner for donation to the Pediatric Specialty Care to hang in the rooms of the medically-fragile children who live at the Bucks County facility in PA. (www.pediatricspecialty.com) to help them decorate for Halloween. Be sure to check back tomorrow for another special creation for Day 2 of the Labor of Love Halloween Hop right here at http://sweetsassydiva.com it will be another new banner that you will want to see.
A special thank you to Sara!
Hello all! Sara from Sentiments by Sara here. I have a sweet little trick or treat banner I have created for you.
You can click on the pictures to get a closer look on them.
Using purple textured cardstock, I cut the outer squares at 5 inches using the Accent Essentials cartridge.
The inner squares are some Halloween patterned paper from Hobby Lobby and are cut at 4 inches. You can do them as scalloped edges but, I chose not to here so that the focus was more on the design than the background pattern.
I used the Simply Sweet cartridge to cut the words at 2 inches along with the shadowing.
The pumpkins, ghost and spiders were cut from the Mini Monsters cricut cartridge at 3 inches (pumpkins/ghost) and 2 inches (spiders)
The cauldron was cut at 2 inches on the Happy Hauntings cartridge.
I hole punched each square on both sides and tied them together with an orange and black ribbon and black tulle (about 6-8 inch pieces)
You can visit my page at http://www.facebook.com/sentimentsbysarawi to see more of my banner creations! I make banners, cupcake toppers, centerpieces, favor tags and door signs for all types of parties as well as plenty of other things!! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the next Banner for Day 2!
