Labor of Love Halloween Hop Day 2!

Welcome to SweetDiva blog!  All this week the design team has been making Halloween banners in honor of today's blog hop!  You can see those in the blog archives here. Also, we are having a SweetSassyDiva Design Team call which you can view by clicking here!  I hope that you will become a follower of http://sweetsassydiva.com/ Please click the follow button which can be found to the right hand column.  There is an additional option to follow by email.  In addition, I will be drawing a name of one lucky follower who also leaves a comment on this post and tomorrow's post for a surprise gift.

Today, I would like to welcome you to the Labor of Love Halloween Hop that Ellen is hosting!  If you arrived from Lori's Blog Scrappin My Stress Away, you are in the right spot!  If you arrived here first, please be sure to start at Ellen's blog so, that you do not miss any of the wonderful creations!

I would like to introduce you to a wonderful friend of mine that creates banners for sale.  She has graciously created a banner for donation to the Pediatric Specialty Care to hang in the rooms of the medically-fragile children who live at the Bucks County facility in PA. (www.pediatricspecialty.com) to help them decorate for Halloween.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another special creation right here at http://sweetsassydiva.com it will be another new banner that you will want to see.

A special thank you to Amy!

Here is Precious Pitter Patter’s “Spooky Happy Halloween Banner”...

You can click on the pictures to make them larger.

To start:  I used Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge to cut out the letters with “Happy Halloween” cardstock paper. I cut them at normal print size 2 ½ inches. I then attached those letters to circular spooky spider web cardstock paper cut with Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge cut at 3 ½ inches.

Once they were glued together I punched holes in each and tied them together with ½ inch orange grosgrain ribbon. On the ends I tied on bright orange tulle to make the banner easy to hang from any wall, staircase or mantel.

Check out all my other great banners and creations on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Precious-Pitter-Patter/189920931031734 I can make the perfect banner, door hanger and other party decorations and favors for any occasion including birthdays, holidays, showers and more!

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the next Banner!

  5. This is a cute banner. I like the paper choice. I have never thought about using tulle for the hangar. That is a great idea. tfs Tami
My memory is going out with my dad trick or treating and he would carry a pillow case for each of us. When our bucket got too full we would dumb it in. Every house participated back then, so lots of candy. Then we would come home, dump it out on the floor and my mom would take all of the 3 musketeer’s bars. She is 74 now and still has that sweet tooth and has them stashed all over her house. LOL tfs Tami
