Picture Frame!

I would love to introduce our newest sweetsassydiva designer to you.

Her first post can be seen by clicking here!

Here is Angie's intro in her own words:

"I have been married to a wonderful sailor for the past 19 years, and we just started the retirement process. (making me old already ;) ) We have 6 children, that I homeschool. The oldest is 18 the youngest is 4 months. We are retiring here in Alaska, a dream I've had for years. I'm originally from the south, so it's been a culture shock for me. I'm very much into a back to the basics lifestyle, where I am learning to make things by hand or using what I have before rushing out to buy new. I've been a crafter for 19 years now...(it started with my first pregnancy). I cross stitch, crochet, scrapbook, plastic canvas, and am starting to dive into card making, altering objects, hand spinning, and I want to learn to knit. Out of all of them I think scrapbooking has been the most rewarding for me because I can look back through cherished memories, and when I do them as gifts I know I'm passing memories along with them as well as a part of me.

I think that is about all there is about me. A southern girl trying to make it in the frozen north ;) Oh my blog is farmtobe@blogspot.com "

I love lavender, so much that it's the color I've used in the majority of my decorating in my little girls room. It's time I started to add things into the room for Bailey now....so we are starting with her own picture frame.
I gathered up what I thought I would use for this project and got started with my gypsy.
I covered the frame with lavender (pastel purple) from the DCWV pastel stack and then trimmed the inside with ribbon. (Next to cardstock ribbon is my addiction) Then to make the flowers. I picked a pattern from the DCWV blossom song stack and added a touch of sparkle. While they dried, I started my cutting and glittering.
After gluing and gluing some more all the pieces were put into place and now I have an adorable frame to put a picture in. It has to be adorable when you are putting baby pictures in them!
*my recipe*
cricut cartridges: calligraphy, george and basic shapes, tags bags boxes
papers DCWV pastel and blossom song stacks
ribbon
glitter glue
self stick gems

I love your picture frame. I have my grand-daughter's picture in a white frame and I want to do some embellishing to it, but I'm such a chicken. Thank you for sharing yours. I might get the courage to try it out.
