It was extended due to blogger difficulties.

This week at Sweet Sassy Diva we were all asked to make something using something new we received over the holidays or to make a recycled project. I choose to recycle! I have seen the toilet paper mini books before and when I saw the many wrapping paper rolls I had laying around after Christmas, I decided to make one myself.

Recipe-
Imagine More Cartridge
Birthday Bash (or any cart with tags)
5 sheets of patterned card stock cut to 5x6
Ribbon
CuttleBug with A,B,C plates
Hole Punch

I started by cutting down the wrapping paper rolls to 5 inches each (I got 5 out of my roll) Then I covered them with the 5 different sheets of patterned card stock that were cut to 5x6. I used a Glitter multi stack by DCWV.

I then ran each roll through my Cuttle Bug using and A,B and C plate to try and flatted out the roll (it did help, but I may need to stick mine under a very heavy book for a while to get them to lay a little flatter)

I don't have a Crop-A-Dial so I used a regular hole punch. I punched 2 holes 1 roll at a time (Man do my hands hurt, I may need a Big Bite LOL!).

Then on my Imagine I cut 2 different tags from Birthday Bash (5 total) at 4 inches and used alternate colors and patterns. I also cut out the little Monopoly Man (As I call him) at 3 inches for the front of my mini book from Imagine More. I used 12x12 textured white card stock.

I knotted a ribbon through the tag holes, and inserted the tags into the side openings of the paper rolls.

I ran a red ribbon through each of the holes to bind this mini book. I then added some accent ribbons. I also used pop dots to put my Monopoly Man to the front of the book.

I really look forward to making some more of these mini books. Hope you enjoy my little project this week!

What a wonderful and cute mini book! :)
I just bought my Cricut Expression in September as a b'day gift to myself and (I think) the following week...the company introduced the Imagine! LOL!
Thanks for the comment on my scrap page (Luv 2 accessorize). You have a new follower here and on facebook. Feel free to check out rest of my work. I know there is much to learn and I'm open to learning what I can. :) I'm new to bloggig, but I'm enjoying it and getting my feet wet with these challenges, give aways, and blog hops. :)
